Lactation & Infant Feeding

Every mom and baby are unique, so our lactation support and feeding therapy is tailored to your specific needs. We focus on identifying and treating the root causes of feeding difficulties, caring both for the quality of the baby’s feeds and for the mother’s comfort and confidence.

Our whole-body, integrated approach recognizes that feeding is a complex process. We assess factors such as body tension, airway function, food sensitivities, nervous-system regulation, and gut health to create a practical, comprehensive plan.

Feeding should be calm and pain-free for both mom and baby — we’re here to help you get there.Florida Tongue Tie Institute, IBCLC.

what if I want to avoid a tongue tie release?

Great news! We do, too. Oral tie releases (or revisions) are an important component to the infant feeding world and are sometimes necessary but not every tie needs to be released.

That’s why every evaluation addresses oral motor function, mobility, and strength so that you know as a parent that no stone is left unturned. We pride ourselves on educating you as the parent on your options so that you can make the best decision for you and your family. Craniosacral therapy

Regardless of whether or not a release is warranted- therapy improves outcomes and helps you reach your goals of having a happy eater.

Your goals are our priority and if that’s to avoid a release- you bet your sweet bottom dollar that it’s our goal too. Tampa IBCLC. Maggie Davis
